Jadavpur Uni students lathi-charged amid protest against JNU violence

Recently the Police officials reportedly lathi-charged the students of Jadavpur University after a student-led rally and BJP supporters' rally came face-to-face in Kolkata. As per the media reports, the police first resorted to lathi charge at around 8 pm to disperse the BJP supporters and later on the students who were protesting on Sunday’s violence at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University that left about three dozen students and teachers injured. 52.72 lakh missed calls received on CAA no. from verifiable phones, says Amit Shah

Recently the BJP leader and Union Minister Amit Shah have claimed that as many as 52,72,000 missed calls have been received on the special toll-free number (No. 8866288662) in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act from verifiable phone numbers. A woman dies as clothes caught fire after spark from power box on road in Chennai

Recently a 38-year-old woman identified as J Leema Rose has lost her life after her clothes caught fire when she was walking past an electricity junction box in Tamil Nadu's Chennai on Saturday night. As per the media reports, an eyewitness said one of the onlookers brought a blanket and covered her burning body after the woman called out for help. She suffered almost 80% burns to her body.
