Haryana issues alert in view of 'locust attack'

Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Jai Prakash Dalal said that after reports of 'locust attack' in Punjab and Rajasthan, an alert has been issued in the state and that the teams have been formed to stop the locust attack and create awareness about the same. Prakash further informed that to control the locust attack, pesticides will be available at a 50% subsidy. POCSO Court gives death sentence to convict in multiple minor rape & murder case

In Telangana's Yadadri district, a special POCSO Court gave death sentence to the convict in three cases of rape and murder of minor girls. The accused has been identified as Marri Srinivas Reddy, a resident of Hajipur village and was arrested on April 30, 2019. The Rachakonda Police Station officials stated that after continuous and prolonged trial of hearing 101 witnesses for 42 days, the court found him guilty in all three minor rape and murder case. Karnataka issue guidelines to deal with Coronavirus threat

The Health and Family Welfare Services Directorate of Karnataka has issued guidelines for testing, isolation, hospital admission and discharge in view of the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in Wuhan city, China. The guideline said that it is appropriate to collect and check the sample of any passenger, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic, with a history of travel to or residence in the last 14 days in Wuhan City, China. It added that the clinical sample of any suspect/probable case of Coronavirus and the case will be kept in isolation.
