We trade onions, tomatoes then why can't we play, asks Shoaib Akhtar on Indo-Pak cricket

Recently the former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has presented his views for the bilateral series of India and Pakistan and said that both the countries should resume playing cricket matches. He added, "If you want to cut the ties then stop the trade, stop playing Kabaddi. Why only cricket? Whenever it's cricket we make it political. We eat onions and tomatoes; we exchange pleasantries then why can't we play cricket?" Ever since the dastardly terror attack in Pulwama in February last year, relationships between the neighbouring countries have been at an all-time low. Src: https://bit.ly/2SW2rFn
