Capacity building of lawmakers is essential for meaningful discussion on Budget: Om Birla

During a debate on scrutinizing budgetary proposals at the 7th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Chapter, representatives spoke about shortcomings in the budgetary process on Thursday. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who heads the conference, pointed out that capacity building of lawmakers was essential to have an informed and meaningful discussion on the budget in order to help India’s economic growth. Missing culprit of 1993 Mumbai bomb blast ‘Doctor Bomb’ arrested from Kanpur, UP

The culprit of the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case, Jalees Ansari also known as ‘Doctor Bomb’ who had gone missing, has been arrested from Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. Ansari was out on 21-days parole when he went missing. UP DGP OP Singh informed that they arrested him while he was coming out from a mosque and has been brought to Lucknow. Delhi Court orders to hang Nirbhaya’s four convicts on 1st February at 6 a.m

Delhi Court declared that four convicts in Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case will be hanged on February at 6 a.m. The new warrant has been issued after President Ram Nath Kovind rejected the mercy petition of one of the convicts, Mukesh Singh. The decision has been taken in accordance with the law which states that the execution can take place two weeks after the rejection of mercy petition. Newborn baby dragged out of an operation theatre of a private hospital, killed by a dogs

Recently a horrible incident took place in which a newborn baby was allegedly dragged out of an operation theatre of a private hospital identified as at Akash Ganga Hospital situated in the UP and killed by stray dogs. As per the media reports, the baby's mother, Kanchan, was admitted to the hospital earlier in the day for baby’s delivery. Kanchan's family alleged that they were never showed the baby boy and he was dragged out of the operation theatre and killed by a stray dog.
