Will stop water to flow to Pakistan and bring back to Haryana: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing in a rally in Haryana, stated that India will not allow its water to flow to Pakistan and divert to Haryana where the water respectfully belongs. Modi further said that for 70 years, water that belongs to Haryana’s farmers, was flowing in the wrong direction to Pakistan but the government will bring it back and they have already started working for it. Industrial Production unit faces downfall by minus 1.1% in August

Recently, the estimate of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) which measured the Industrial production or factory output has shrunk by 1.1% in comparison to July's 3.3% with an expansion. Earlier, in August 2018, the IPP had expanded by 4.8%. According to media reports, the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MSPI), in a press release stated that 15 out of 23 industry groups in the manufacturing sector have shown negative growth during the month of August 2019 as compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. India criticises Turkey for military action in Syria

India has slammed Turkey for its unilateral military offensive in northeastern Syria. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that Turkey's action can undermine stability in the region and the fight against terrorism. "We call upon Turkey to exercise restraint and respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria. We urge the peaceful settlement of all issues through dialogue and discussion", MEA added. PM Modi's new aircraft to be flown by IAF pilots

Two custom-made B777 planes, which will be used to fly PM Modi and other top Indian dignitaries from July 2020, will be operated by Indian Air Force's (IAF) pilots. However, the planes will be maintained by Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL). Presently, the PM, President Ram Nath Kovind, and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu fly on Air India's B747, which have the call sign 'Air India One'.
