PM Modi urges citizens to make Yoga an integral part of their lives ahead of International Yoga Day

PM Narendra Modi, ahead of the upcoming International Yoga Day on June 21, urged citizens to practice Yoga daily to maintain a healthy life. The PM on his twitter handle said, "On June 21, we will mark Yoga Day 2019. I urge you all to make an integral part of your life and also inspire to do the same". PM Modi also posted an animation video where he is demonstrating Trikonasana, also known as the triangle pose.

Amazon opts ‘Shipment Zero’ packaging to lessen waste on World Environment Day

Well known E-commerce portal Amazon has taken an initiative to start ‘packaging-free shipment’. Initially, the program will run in nine cities, which includes Delhi, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Now the orders will be parcelled with just primary packing. This initiative has been tested in Bangalore and it got good feedbacks from the Customers. Products which are unbreakable like tech accessories, home accessories, shoes, and luggage will be parcelled packaging free. The Company’s mission is to make net zero carbon with 50 percent of all shipments by 2030.

Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists shot at two civilians in Pulwama, one dead

According to the police, in early hours in Pulwama village, a girl was shot dead by terrorists. The girl has been identified as Nigeena, a resident of Narbal Kakapora. A youth was also shot by militants. Both were shifted to a hospital, however, the girl was declared brought dead, while the boy's condition is critical.
