COVID-19: AIIMS to perform only emergency surgeries for now

Amid COVID-19 outbreak across the country, AIIMS (Delhi) has decided to postpone all non-essential elective procedures and surgeries for now as a major part of its manpower and resources have been diverted in fighting COVID-19 scare. However, it will continue to do emergency life-saving surgeries. AAP govt to engage 17,000 volunteers to help hone entrepreneurial skills of students

The govt of Delhi will inscribe 17,000 entrepreneurs as volunteers to help fine-tune the entrepreneurial mindset among school students. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia directed the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) to engage the volunteers. In the meeting with the EMC officials, Sisodia stated that there is a need to inculcate a mentality among Delhi's student entrepreneurs in which Live Interactions with Entrepreneurs play a very important role. Newborn baby dragged out of an operation theatre of a private hospital, killed by a dogs

Recently a horrible incident took place in which a newborn baby was allegedly dragged out of an operation theatre of a private hospital identified as at Akash Ganga Hospital situated in the UP and killed by stray dogs. As per the media reports, the baby's mother, Kanchan, was admitted to the hospital earlier in the day for baby’s delivery. Kanchan's family alleged that they were never showed the baby boy and he was dragged out of the operation theatre and killed by a stray dog. Nirbhaya Case convict Mukesh Singh asked mercy from president

Recently Mukesh Singh, who is one of the four convicts in the Nirbhaya case whose execution is just a week away has filed a mercy petition to President Ram Nath Kovind. Unless the appeal is accepted, he, along with three other convicts in the case, is to be hanged at 7 am on January 22. The other three convicts hadn’t applied for the same.
