Maintain database of martyrs families, address their grievances: Amit Shah to CRPF

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during his visit to the Delhi headquarters of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), emphasized the need to establish a list of martyrs' families and resolve their basic issues and complaints systematically. Shah also ordered senior officers to meet the martyrs' families and spend time with them to understand their needs in order to solve their problems. He also expressed concern about Jawans' hard and long deployment in extreme threats and addressed various measures to bring them comfort and a chance to stay with their families. Hyderabad: Section 144 CrPC imposed in wake of Bus Roko call by TSRTC employees

In Telangana's Hyderabad city, Section 144 CrPC has been imposed for today in all Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) depots following the call by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the TSRTC's striking employees. As per a senior police officer, if such Bus Roko programs are allowed, many business and academic activities will be disturbed. The officer added that any person violating this prohibitory order will be arrested. Since October 5, the TSRTC employees have been on a strike with several demands including revision of pay. Delhi: one arrested from IGI airport with drones, 10k memory cards

In Delhi, the Customs officials have arrested one passenger from Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport coming from Hongkong and seized 8 drones with cameras, 9 expensive smartphones, 10,000 memory cards with a total value of INR 26.25 lakh. Kerala: Security arrangements tightened ahead of Sabarimala Temple's opening

In Kerala's Pathanamthitta district, tight security arrangements have been made before the opening of the Sabarimala Temple for the Mandala Pooja festival. District Collector PB Nooh, in an interview, stated that all basic arrangements are in place. The state govt has deployed around 800 medical staff and established 16 medical emergency centres. Around 2,400 toilets and more than 250 water kiosks are ready. More than 1,000 sanitation workers have been deployed to ensure a clean atmosphere. The opening of the temple comes a day after Supreme Court referred a clutch of petitions seeking review of its order which paved the way for the entry of women into Sabarimala temple in Kerala to a larger seven-judge bench by a majority 3:2 ruling.
