Not a single bullet fired, no life lost in J&K since Aug 5: Centre

Recently the Solicitor general Tushar Mehta, while answering the court of the situation in J&K said, "Not a single bullet has been fired, there has been no loss of life." The Centre's reply came after the court asked the Centre and the J&K government to restore normalcy in the state as soon as possible. Odisha: Fake Clinic Plus shampoo sachets, Lakme cosmetics seized in large quantity

A huge quantity of fake cosmetic products, including Clinic Plus shampoo sachets, Lakme cosmetics and face wash was seized from several shops in Kantabanji situated in Odisha. As per the media reports, a team of police collaborated with officials of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) conducted raids on several stores after receiving a tip-off. As of now, two are booked for detailed questioning. Nayantara, the lawyer of HUL said, “We received complaints from many customers over the quality of products. Basing on the complaints, we purchased several products from various stores posing as customers. Hyderabad: The college that asked girls to wear long Kurtis withdraws dress code

Recently St.Francis Women’s College situated in Hyderabad has finally lifted their dress code of knee-length Kurtis for college. One of the students ecstatically shared her views, "We are now allowed to dress as per the undertaking which allows us to wear clothes except mini-skirts and crop tops." The dress code, which was brought into force from August 1, made it mandatory for the students to wear knee-length Kurtis, but after the protest initiated by students, the college management has taken back their decision.
