Rahul should apologize to people; Ravishankar Prasad after SC’s verdict on Rafale deal

BJP after the rejection of the review petition filed in the Rafale deal case by the Supreme Court, lashed out at the former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Union Minister Ravishankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi should apologize the people of the country for accusing the PM for corruption in the Rafale deal without having any base for it. Moody's further reduces India's estimated GDP to 5.6% for 2019

Moody's Investors Service on Thursday has further cut India's economic growth forecast for the current year to 5.6% from 5.8% estimated earlier, saying GDP slowdown is lasting longer than formerly expected. It was earlier expected that economic activity would pick up in 2020 and 2021 to 6.6% and 6.7%, however, the pace remained lower in the recent past. SC acquits Rahul Gandhi from contempt of court regarding his ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ remark

The Supreme Court has given relief to the former Congress President Rahul Gandhi from the proceedings under contempt of court as plead by BJP's MP Meenakshi Lekhi when he lashed at PM Narendra Modi by his remarks of ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ alleging him for the wrongdoings in Rafale fighterjet deal. The court said that the then Congress president put his remarks on the PM without having any base for it.
