Convict Pawan Gupta asked for lesser prison term, as he was minor during crime committed

Recently one of the four death row convicts in the Nirbhaya case, Pawan Gupta, has filed a petition in the SC against last year's Delhi High Court order in which he has claimed that he was a juvenile at the time of the crime occurred. Convict Pawan Gupta had claimed because he was a minor, "an innocent boy" at the time of the crime, he should be punished under laws for juveniles, which eventually means a lesser prison term. Bengal man attempts to kill himself & family due to the fear of not being in NRC list

In Contai district of West Bengal, a 34-year-old man identified as Tahiruddin SK had stabbed himself and his family. According to reports, he was worried about not being in the National Register of Citizen and Citizenship Amendment Act list. One of his relatives said that the took part in several protests against the law and was worried about the mistakes in his documentation. Newborn baby dragged out of an operation theatre of a private hospital, killed by a dogs

Recently a horrible incident took place in which a newborn baby was allegedly dragged out of an operation theatre of a private hospital identified as at Akash Ganga Hospital situated in the UP and killed by stray dogs. As per the media reports, the baby's mother, Kanchan, was admitted to the hospital earlier in the day for baby’s delivery. Kanchan's family alleged that they were never showed the baby boy and he was dragged out of the operation theatre and killed by a stray dog.
