Ladakh hit by 5.3 magnitude earthquake today, no loss of life or property reported

According to reports, an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Union Territory of Ladakh region at 10.54 am Sunday. The tremors occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres. The tremors lasted for a few seconds. According to the Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake is in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. No injuries or loss of life or damage to the property were reported. Another earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale hit Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district today at 11.55 am and no loss of property and life was reported in Kangra too. A 14-year-old girl suffers burns after a woman accidentally threw Acid in Lucknow

Recently a 14-year-old minor suffered severe burn injuries after a woman threw a bag containing a bottle of acid outside her house in Ghasiyari Mandi situated in Lucknow. As per the media reports, Asha Sonkar was having a quarrel with a door-to-door jewellery cleaner Ram Chandra Soni, alleging that he had damaged her ornaments. During the argument, Asha threw Ram's bag out and the bottle of acid (used in cleaning jewellery) broke when the girl and two other women passing by came in contact with the chemical. A 19-year-old woman accidentally hanged herself while scaring her boyfriend in Kerala

Recently a 19-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself while she was on a video call with her boyfriend. As per the media reports, the woman was having an argument with her boyfriend. To scare him, the woman showed him she was hanging herself. But accidentally the woman lost her life. CAIT to protest across the country during Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' stay in India
