loudspeakers will be banned from 3 Days before exams, says WB Pollution Control Board

The West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) on Saturday has taken an initiative to help the students study and banned the use of loudspeakers in residential areas and around schools in view of secondary and higher secondary examinations in the state. As per the media reports, the secondary (Madhyamik) examination will be held from February 18 to 27, while the higher secondary (Uchha Madhyamik) examination from March 12 to 27. 24-yr-old Dalit stops to defecate in field in Tamil Nadu, gets lynched

Recently In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old Dalit man was lynched near Villupuram in Tamil Nadu, when he squatted by the road to defecate. As per the media reports, the victim, who worked at a petrol pump near Tamil Nadu's Villupuram went to a nearby field to take a piss. That’s when a woman working on a site nearby saw him and thought he was flashing. We will investigate the matter, says Delhi police on video of police hitting Jamia student

Today, a video of Jamia Milia Islamia University violent attack has gone viral, in which it showed Delhi police were thrashing students who were studying peacefully in a reading room in University in New Delhi on December 15. After it went viral, Special Commissioner of Police Praveer Ranjan said that they have cognizance of the video and will investigate the matter. Zomato user cheated of over INR 1 lakh by fake helpline number found online

Recently a resident of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Shweta was duped off of more than a lakh rupees, by scammers posing as Zomato customer care executives, who told her to follow a link in order to get a refund on the order she was not satisfied with. Upon clicking the link, Shweta, the customer, unknowingly gave access to her phone to the hackers, who, over the course of the next two days, stole over a lakh rupees from two of her bank accounts linked to UPI.
