Vinesh Phogat wins bronze after securing 2020 Olympics berth

Recently Indian star wrestler Vinesh Phogat has become the first Indian wrestler to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She has clinched bronze in the 53 kg category in the World Wrestling Championships. 92% of J&K has no restrictions: MEA

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar has stated that the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir is that there is no shortage of medicines in the state and 95% of healthcare professionals are on duty. Kumar further stated that banking facilities are operating normally and 92% of Jammu and Kashmir has no restrictions. Ahmedabad: Couple beaten up badly over inter-caste marriage

Young Gujarati couple Palak Desai and Bhavin Shah were brutally beaten up by relatives of a woman for marrying a man out of caste. Later the woman was forcefully separated from her husband and abducted by her relatives. The incident took place in Jain Derasar area. Bhavin Shah has filed a complaint against abduction and assault by relatives. Police have identified three men involved in abduction but are yet to trace Palak. Both Palak and Bhavin got married in 2016 but were forced to live with their respective parents as woman's family members disapproved their marriage. Src:https://bit.ly/2lSolME

Jharkhand: Lightning kills 8 in Garhwa

In Jharkhand's Garhwa district, around eight people have lost their lives and two others were injured due to a lightning strike at Passi village. Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Pradeep Kumar, confirmed the incident and stated, "All the injured people were sent to the hospital for treatment. A team of officers has been deployed to the spot to take stock the situation". A per media reports, the administration has given Rs 4 lakh to every family of the deceased as compensation.
