Govt school headmaster found in possession of assets worth 2.6 crore in Odisha

Recently State Vigilance Department has detected assets worth over 2.6 crores, including multiple buildings, from a government school headmaster identified as Ranjeet Kumar Panigrahi, who was posted in Nabarangpur district of Odisha. As per the media reports, the man has 6 plots, 2 four-wheelers, 2 two-wheelers, deposits in different banks of INR 70.46 lakhs, investment in insurance policies (LIC) of INR 20.31 lakhs, gold and silver ornaments and cash of over Six lakhs was also recovered in course of search and inventory. Delhi court issues death warrant to 4 guilty in Nirbhaya case, to be hanged on 22nd Jan

A Delhi Court released the death warrant for the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang-rape and murder case of 2012. The hanging of the four convicts will take place on the 22nd of January at 7 AM. A review petition was filed by one of the four convicts against the death penalty given to him by the Supreme Court in its 2017 verdict but the victim’s mother challenged the plea and the Supreme Court rejected the review. Violent clash erupts between ABVP and NSUI activists in Gujarat's Ahmedabad

Today, in Gujarat's Ahmedabad district, a violent clash erupted between ABVP and NSUI activists. As per media reports, NSUI conducted a protest outside the ABVP office in which NSUI Gujarat General Secretary, Nikhil Sayani was injured. FIR filed against injured Student Union President Aishe Ghosh, 19 others by JNU admin

Amid the JNU violent attack, Delhi police has filed an FIR against JNU Student Union President Aishe Gosh along with 19 others for attacking security guards and vandalizing the communication server rooms.
