However, Pulwama attack on CRPF jawans had changed the entire scenario". Pawar further said that now people's mind can be changed only with other Pulwama attack-like situation. "I have worked in Defence. When I talked to some officials that time I suspected the attack was deliberately orchestrated or Pakistan may be behind it", he claimed. Pawar added that BJP will suffer loss in the assembly elections as the expectations of people from nationalists have increased. It could create rift between people: Salman Khurshid slams Amit Shah over Hindi Diwas comment

Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid slammed Union Home Minister for his "only Hindi can unite the country" statement. Khurshid stated, "If you try to trample other languages and bring out just one, then there is a possibility that people might not accept it. It could create a rift between them". He further said that how the unity of the country is being threatened is disappointing. This comes after Amit Shah on Hindi Diwas stated, "India is a country of different languages and every language has its own importance to have a language which should become the identity of India in the world.
