CPI (M) turns out to be the most violent left-wing extremist party: Report

The Ministry of Home Affairs has come up with a data which says that the Communist Party of India (Maoist) has been the most violent left-wing extremist party active in the country since 2010. The CPI (M) has been involved with around 3,749 deaths as a result of 10,660 cases of violence across 10 states of the country. The highest number of casualties due to left-wing extremism was recorded from Chhattisgarh where 1,370 people were killed as a result of 3,769 cases of violence caused by Maoists between 2010-2018. The 10 Naxal-hit states are Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, UP and MP. Tamil Nadu: 2-year old boy who fell in the bore well found dead

The two-year old boy named Sujith Wilson from Tamil Nadu who fell in the bore well on Friday has been declared dead by the authorities of State Government in early morning on Tuesday. The National Disaster Response Force and the State Disaster Response Force launched a rescue operation on Friday. After 75 hours of struggle the rescue teams were able to reach the place where Sujith was stuck only to find him dead. Disaster Management Commissioner J Radhakrishnan told media that the medical team found a decaying smell from the bore well and Sujith’s body was found in highly decomposed state. 210 arrested, 371 cases registered on Diwali night: Delhi Police

Delhi Police data has shown that around 210 people have been arrested and 371 cases have been registered in Delhi on Diwali night. The data further showed that out of 371 cases, 56 have been registered for storing and selling firecrackers illegally and 44 people have been arrested. The rest 315 cases have been registered for bursting illegal firecrackers and also for bursting any cracker outside the two-hour window and 166 people have been arrested for the offense. Goa to ban sale of liquor in industrial areas: Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane

Goa Industries Minister Vishwajit Rane has stated that the Goa govt has banned the sale of alcohol in industrial estates in the state in the interest of the safety of workers which is the utmost importance and hence the state govt will take all necessary measures to achieve the same. As per media reports, Rane himself cleared a file to make govt passed a law banning the drinking in public in tourist areas and imposed fine ranging from INR 2,000 to 10,000.
