Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) joint exercise on the Urban earthquake rescue in Delhi. The inauguration ceremony took place at 3 pm today. The exercise was hosted by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to rehearse disaster response mechanisms and share knowledge, experience and technology. Odisha Government to serve food in exchange for plastic waste through a state-owned café

The government of Odisha has found a way of managing plastic waste. The government has opened a café in Koraput district which will serve people an INR 5-meal in exchange of plastic waste. This cafe has been started by the Odisha government under Aahar Scheme. This is being seen as a good way towards both, charity and responsibility towards the environment. Germany to provide 1 billion to India for green urban mobility

India and Germany signed a joint agreement in which they agreed to provide financial support to climate initiatives for reducing greenhouse gas. As per media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel show their concern about the climate level and express that all countries should make efforts on it. TRAI decided mobile calls to ring for 30 seconds and 60 seconds for landline

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) has fixed the duration of the ring. The incoming voice call in the mobile phone must ring for at least 30 seconds and at least 60 seconds for landlines. The aspect came after Reliance Jio and Airtel argued over the issue, with the former ring for 20-25 seconds, and Airtel and Vodafone Idea seeking 45 and 30 seconds.
