No passenger trains during Janta Curfew on March 22: Indian Railways

The Indian Railways announced in the midst of COVID-19 outbreak across the country that in the wake of PM Modi's appeal for a Janta Curfew, all passenger trains originating between midnight on March 21-22 will not be run. However, passenger train services that are already operating on the day are permitted to run to the divisions of destinations should keep a watch and trains that are empty can be stopped short if possible. The Railways further stated that Mail/Express services and intercity trains will be reduced to a bare minimum level only in order to meet critical travel requirements in view of the day falling on Sunday. COVID-19: GHMC starts door-to-door screening of people in Hyderabad arrived from overseas

In Telangana's Hyderabad city, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has started door-to-door screening of persons who travelled to other countries since February 2020. As per media reports, foreign nationals, who arrived in India during this period are also being screened. As per the GHMC officials, the civic body workers have started door-to-door screening. COVID-19: Govt approves 'Pay and Use' quarantine facilities at 3 hotels in Bhubneshwar

Amid COVID-19 outbreak across the country, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Odisha's Bhubneshwar city has introduced the 'pay and use' quarantine facilities in three city hotels where people can stay in isolation after paying a regular sum to these hotels. The order from the BMC stated that an individual will be required to pay INR 2,500 per day for the use of these quarantine facilities. The order further said the number will cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and two bottles of water every day.
