Harassment, Rapes, Crimes Against Women Have Become Daily Affair in UP: Congress

The Congress on Wednesday alleged that harassment, rapes, and crimes against women have become a "daily affair" under the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, and asserted that while people suffer in the "jungle raj", the government is unrepentant. Congress' chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had slammed the Yogi Adityanath government over atrocities against women and girls and hit out the UP government over the killing of a Dalit girl in Unnao. This follows Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's citation of several reports of killings and rapes claiming innocents were being subjected to cruelty, but the government was not concerned.
