Police raids illegal hookah bar in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, 24 arrested

In Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, the district administration and police conducted a raid at a hookah bar being operated illegally in the Kishanpur area. A senior police officer stated, during the raid, the team found numerous people in the outlet and also seized intoxicant substances and liquor. The officer added that the team has arrested 24 people who were caught smoking hookah. RBI decides to make NEFT system 24x7 available from December 16

The Reserve Bank of India has announced to make the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) system 24x7 and it will be applicable from December 16. NEFT transactions will set to be automated using ‘Straight Through Processing’ modes by the bank. 3rd encounter in 10 years of Telangana Cop Sajjanar, who encountered vet's rape accused

Telangana Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar led the encounter of four accused in veterinarian rape and murder case. This was his third encounter in 10 years. Previously, Sajjanar did his first encounter in December 12, 2008, where he shot dead three accused of throwing acid on two girls. Hyderabad: Speeding car falls off flyover; woman dies

A shocking incident occurred in Hyderabad where a speeding car fell off a Bio-Diversity Park flyover. The incident was captured in CCTV cameras. The car lost control and fell from the flyover and crushed a 40-year-old woman who was waiting for auto-rickshaw on the footpath. The car driver and another woman on the ground were injured.
