Woman in premature labour helped in delivery on moving train by 2 Indian Army doctors

A pregnant woman boarded the Howrah Express on Saturday. As the train was on the move the woman went into premature labor but luckily, there were two officers of the always-in-service Indian Army present in the train to help the lady. Captain Lalitha and Captain Amandeep, the two women officers of the Indian Army’s 172 Military Hospital helped the women to deliver her baby on the moving train. Both the mother and the woman were healthy. Post the incident the Additional Directorate General of Public Information of Indian Army posted the picture of the two officers and the lady with her baby, through its twitter account. UP cop Akilesh Singh says ‘Go to Pakistan’ to protester who raised pro-Pakistan slogan

A video of Meerut SP Akhilesh Narayan Singh of Uttar Pradesh has surfaced on social media in which the SP was heard saying ‘go to Pakistan’ to those who were destroying property of India. The incident took place when four protesters were chanting pro-Pakistan slogans. In the video, Singh was telling protesters that if they don’t want to live here than go to Pakistan. UP’s Muslim community gives over INR 6 L for damages incurred during anti-CAA protests

Members of the Muslim community in UP handed over a cheque of INR 6.27 lakh to the district administration after the Friday prayers. The money was given against the damages that occurred to public property during the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests. Haji Akram, a member of the delegation which handed over the cheque to the administration, said that the entire community had come forward to collect the amount to pay for the damage to government vehicles and other property during the violent protests. 34-year old man gets death penalty for 7-year-old’s rape & murder in Tamil Nadu

A 34-year old man was sentenced to death by a special court for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012, for the rape and murder of a seven-year-old Dalit girl on March 24 this year at Pannimadai village which is on the outskirts of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Judge J Radhika said that the prosecution had proved the charges against accused Santhosh Kumar and found him guilty on three counts, rape, murder and destruction of evidence, under the POCSO Act and under the IPC.
