Former Karnataka CM seeks HD Kumaraswamy's resignation.

Senior BJP leader and former Karnataka CM Jagadish Shettar said, "Kumaraswamy has no moral right to continue as the CM as he got only one seat in the state. He must resign from the post. Their coalition has to accept the mandate of the people". He further said that people are fed up of fights between JD(S) and Congress and to put an end to it, Kumaraswamy must resign...JD(S) Chief HD Deve Gowda and senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge have no right to remain in power.

Senior Congress leader and Karnataka Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar, in an interview, said, "I just know who won and who lost. I don't have further details. Ahmed Patel clears the air over his visit to Rahul Gandhi.

Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel, in his twitter, said, "I had sought time before the Congress Working Committee to meet the Congress President to discuss routine administrative work. The meeting today was in that context". He further said, "All other speculation is incorrect and baseless". Rahul Gandhi is said to be sticking to his decision to quit as party chief and is keen that a new person is chosen for the post to guide Congress in the challenging times ahead.

Delhi government immediate action on closing down coaching institutes operation above fourth floor.

After the Surat fire tragedy, The Delhi Fire Service director has directed to take strict action as per fire safety standards and guidelines to prevent recurrence of such accidents. The order said, "As a precautionary step it is further directed that, in the first phase, all such coaching centers operating in high-rise buildings shall be inspected by the fire service director". The order further added, "He shall take immediate action for closing down the operation of coaching institutes operating above the fourth floor in such buildings in violation of the fire norms".
