Pakistan was subversive, going against us: Trump on cancelled $1.3 Billion aid

US President Donald Trump, during his meeting with Pakistan PM Imran Khan, criticised Islamabad for its behaviour which led to the cancellation of $1.3 Billion US aid about a year ago. Trump stated, "We were paying USD 1.3 billion to Pakistan as aid, for many years. The problem was...Pakistan was not doing anything for us. They were really subversive. They were going against us. I ended that about a year and a half ago, the USD 1.3 billion (aid)". Further, regarding the restoration of the aid to Pakistan, Trump stated, "To be honest, I think we have a better relationship with Pakistan right now than we did when we were paying that money. But all of that can come back, depending on what we work out". The US added that the aid will stay suspended until Islamabad make strides against terrorism. Src: https://bit.ly/2SyEl2N

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has revealed his country’s role in the elimination of Osama Bin Laden. Osama was killed in Abbottabad on May 2, 2011, in a secret operation conducted by the US Navy SEALs. Khan, who is on a bilateral visit to the United States, claimed that his country’s intelligence agency had passed on information to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that helped track down Osama. He pointed out that his country, Pakistan, had been helping in the US war against terrorism. The US raid to take out Osama had "hugely embarrassed Pakistan", he said. Src:https://bit.ly/2Y72deX
