After the savage murder and gang-rape case of veterinary doctor, many women across the nation came out and claimed that they felt safe and empowered while they were carrying a canister of pepper spray during their commute, especially during late-night traveling. ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ will be implemented from June: Ram Vilas Paswan

In Rajya Sabha, the government introduced the ‘One Nation One Ration Card’, which will cover migrant labourers and daily wagers. Union Minister Ram Vilas announced that the eligible beneficiaries would avail food grains under the National Food Security Act from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) in the country using the same ration card. Police issues notice to TV channel and social media for revealing name of Hyderabad rape

The Hyderabad police have issued the notice to several TV channels, social media, and newspapers for revealing the name of Hyderabad’s victim who was raped and murdered. The police have sent a notice under section 149 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), where they have asked them to stop telecasting such content and delete the post from social media.
