Netflix founder says OTT platforms can avoid censorship on content by self-regulation

The Indian government is trying to put the censor on the content streaming on the OTT platforms, but the founder and CEO of Netflix Reed Hastings said that there may be a problem on the internet but not with the content on Netflix. The local rules of every country are different and the platform adheres to these rules. The best thing which should be done by the OTT platforms is the self-regulation of the content and this is the best and the most realistic way to avoid censorship on the content of the platforms by the government. ‘The Montreal Protocol’ to conserve the ozone layer turned out successful: Research

In 1987 ‘The Montreal Protocol’ was an international treaty signed by different countries to stop the use of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) that are destroying the ozone layer of the Earth, which appears to be the first international treaty to successfully slow the rate of global warming. Auto-component manufacturing industry cuts 1 lakh employees amid slowdown: Reports

According to the data by Auto Component Manufacturers Association, the turnover of the auto-component manufacturing industry dropped by 10.1% to INR 1.79 lakh during the April-September this year from INR 1.99 lakh crores of the corresponding period of the last year. This slowdown can be accredited to the slowdown in the automotive industry and there have been around 1 lakh temporary employees of the auto-component manufacturing industry who lost their jobs due to this slowdown. Unnao rape burn victim dies of injuries, case to be heard in fast-track says CM Yogi

The 23-year old rape victim from Unnao lost her life in a hospital in Delhi on 6th December because of the burn injuries she suffered due to the rape accused set her ablaze. The CM of UP Yogi Adityanath said that he is saddened on the demise of the victim and assured that the case will be heard in a fast-track court and strict punishment will be given to the convicts.
