Anurag Thakur objects to Dayanidhi Maran's remarks about Sanskrit

Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur and leaders of the BJP took a strong exception yesterday to the remark made by DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran in the Sanskrit-related Lok Sabha saying that Maran speaks Tamil everywhere. What has he done for the Tamil language? He hasn't done a single thing for the Tamil language. Maran addresses Thirukkural. Has Thirukkural even been nationalised? It comes after Maran, who spoke about the Union Budget, asked the Center what it did for the Tamil language's growth and propagation. Src: https://bit.ly/31IQ4Ap

"4-month-old goes for protest?", asks SC furiously over infant death in Shaheen Bagh

The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Centre and the Delhi government over the death of a four-month-old at Delhi's Shaheen Bagh where the longest protest against the citizenship law has been going on. "Can a four-month-old child go for the protest?" the Supreme Court asked, coming down heavily on the lawyers who say they are appearing for mothers of children in protest at Shaheen Bagh. Four-month-old Mohammad Jahan was taken to the protest site at Shaheen Bagh by his parents almost every day. He died of severe cold and congestion on January 30 after being exposed to the bitter cold. Src: https://bit.ly/2ShqmA6
