Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Bhaskara Rao joined BJP in the presence of party president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today in Ranga Reddy. Rao joined BJP's nationwide membership campaign in the Shamshabad conviction center which was inaugurated by Amit Shah. This was the Shah’s foremost visit to Hyderabad after the Lok Sabha polls. Digvijay Singh: BJP will not take action against MLA Akash by BJP

Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Saturday said that no action would be taken by BJP against their MLA Akash Vijayvargiya for attacking a municipal corporation officer. Akash Vijayvargiya is the son of BJP party general secretary, Kailash Vijayvargiya, He claimed that the BJP government is incapable of following through on its’ actions when their own party leaders are at fault. Madhya Pradesh: government to compulsorily retire non-performing workers

The Madhya Pradesh government has asked the heads of all the departments to do a screening of employees of their individual departments and prepare a list of non-performing employees in government services. According to the list, non-performing officers with over 20 years of service, will be given compulsory retirement, while others will be served show cause notice. The decision was taken after having a review meeting with all the departments as their efficiency needs to improve. The CM has allotted one month to complete the screening. Karnataka: Cong-JD (S) coalition on brink of failure after 12 MLAs resign

The Congress-Janata Dal(Secular) government of Karnataka is headed for disaster after 12 MLAs of the ruling coalition handed their resignations. Nine of whom were from the Congress and three from the JD(S). They submitted papers to quit the House five days after Congress MLA Anand Singh submitted his own resignation over differences he had with the government over the sale of mining land.
