Stating that this shows doctors in a negative manner, the doctor has filed a complaint with the Mumbai police and asked them to stop the screening of the film.

Income Tax Department issued ₹64,700 crore refund this fiscal: Sitharaman

The Income Tax department has issued ₹ 64,700 crores worth of refunds in the current fiscal till June 18th. The accrued amount released in 2018-2019 stood at over ₹ 1.61 lakh crore. Nirmala Sitharaman stated that over 6.49 crore electronic returns were submitted for the assessment year 2018-19 which is up by 18.65% compared to the previous year. She further claimed that Less than 0.5 percent of income tax returns (ITRs) are selected for scrutiny and with increasing use of technology the time taken to process ITRs is reducing exponentially.
