Malala urges UN to intervene in Kashmir, gets criticised

The youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner and Pak education rights activist Malala Yousafzai has recently shared her concerns regarding India’s newest territories J&K. She took the matter to Twitter and said, “she was deeply concerned about reports that Kashmiri students have not been able to attend schools for more than 40 days, and about girls who are afraid to leave their homes”. She also said, “I am asking leaders, at UNGA and beyond, to work towards peace in Kashmir, listen to Kashmiri voices and help children go safely back to school.” Due to her this comment She was criticized a lot. Mayawati seeks Union Minister's apology for blaming ‘lack of qualification’ among north Indians

BSP chief Mayawati has asked the Central govt ministers to apologise for their alleged statement that there is no dearth of job opportunities in the country but there is a lack of qualification among north Indian candidate. Mayawati on her Twitter handle stated, "After the hilarious statements by the Central ministers regarding the period of economic slowdown and other problems, rather than solving the problem of unemployment in the nation, particularly in the northern region, it is shameful that some of them have stated that there is a lack of qualification for which an apology should be issued to the nation". Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh, while addressing a press conference, expressed, "We are very close to normalcy. If you take the entire region into account, all 10 districts of Jammu have become entirely normal, all school, colleges, and offices are open. Leh and Kargil are also normal, there is no restriction of any kind there". Singh further said that more than 90% areas are free of restrictions and 100% telephone exchanges are working now. Chidambaram tweets from jail, says he is ‘amazed’ while interacting with the poor

Former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram is in Tihar jail under judicial custody. Chidambaram has been active on social media sites like Twitter and he tweeted, "I am deeply concerned about the economy. The poor are the worst affected. Lower incomes, fewer jobs, less trade and lower investment affect the poor and the middle class".
