The UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that govt is planning to deliver essential commodities at people's doorstep in UP and that there is no need to worry or go out. BSF Battalion seizes 889 kg of Ganja, destroys 4500 mature Ganja plants in Tripura

The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized 889 kg of dry ganja worth INR 44.45 lakh in an operation in inner parts of the district in Tripura's Sepahijala District. The BSF and SDFO Sonamura and Forest Protection Unit, working on the basis of a clear tip-off, jointly destroyed 4,500 mature ganja plants weighing about 2,500 kg worth around INR 1.12 Cr by spot cutting and burning. SC to pronounce judgement on Centre's plea against permanent commission for women in Army

Today, the Supreme Court will pronounce judgment on the appeal of the Center against the directions of Delhi High Court passed in 2010 to award women officers in the Indian Army permanent commission. According to the Army, women officers chosen for the permanent commission will be given assignments according to organizational criteria according to the commitments provided by the military. Delhi HC to hear plea seeking CBI probe into Gargi college incident today

Today, the Delhi High Court will hear the plea seeking court-monitored Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged molestation of students during a cultural festival at the all-women Gargi College on February 6. Earlier on Friday, the court stated that it will hear advocate ML Sharma's petition seeking a CBI probe in the Gargi college incident on February 17.
