On suspicion of theft, mob thrashed man and burned his private part in Kerala

A shocking incident occurred where a man identified as Ajesh was thrashed by mob after the group suspected that he would have stolen a mobile phone and cash. Group of auto-rickshaw drivers brutally beat him up and a hot iron rod was placed on his stomach and private parts. Ajesh managed to escape and has suffered several burns, due to that he has lost his life. A video of the incident was surfaced on social media. The police have arrested five suspects from the video. SC declines to initiate judicial probe of CAA protest, says "go to courts below first"

Supreme Court informed that they will not entertain a plea seeking judicial investigation of Police's violent action on the protesting students of Jamia and AMU over CAA. Chief Justice of India S.A Bobde explained that by comparing with a recent Telangana encounter and stated that in this case there are different jurisdictions and before coming to Supreme Court they should go to High Court first. Four arrested for murdering a man, robbing house in Delhi

In Delhi, four men have been arrested on Tuesday by the Special Staff team of Delhi Police for murdering a man and robbing his house in Outer North District's Rohini. As per media reports out of six accused, four have been arrested and another two are absconding. The police, in a statement, stated that on December 9, after receiving a complaint of a robbery at a house, the team laid a trap and arrested the four from Rohini. One of the accused stabbed the complainant's brother to death. 'Violent suppression' Harvard students write letter in solidarity with Jamia, AMU students

More than 100 students of Harvard have written a letter to the BJP government showing solidarity with the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The letter read, the violent suppression of protesters by the police, the use of teargas and physical assault in response to peaceful dissent, and the police forces which forceful entry into university campuses and consequent Internet blockades there, are all deeply reprehensible. The Harvard students expressed that CAA is a regrettable act of legislation.
