Amit Shah: NDRF Should Build Central Database to Combat Disaster

Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday asked the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to build a single countrywide database of disaster-combat equipment and systems so that the information comes in handy when disaster strikes. The NDRF is a federal force for quick response to any emergency, man-made or natural. Praising the work of the NDRF, Shah said efforts should be made to combat disasters with the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Shah urged the NDRF to build expertise in tackling forest fires as “climate change” had made them more frequent. Src-https://bit.ly/2FUhVUP
