Breaking: ex-Pakistan Dictator Pervez Musharraf sentenced to death for 2007 sedition

Ex-Pakistan Army Chief and former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has been given a death sentence by a Pakistan special court in Lahore. The sentence was given under the charges of sedition as in 2007 Musharraf became the President of Pakistan and using his military power abrogated the constitution to declare an emergency in the country. Maharashtra ATC arrested 12 Bangladeshi nationals for staying illegally

Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Cell (ATC) has arrested 12 Bangladeshi from Palghar district. 12 Bangladeshi nationals including nine women were living without any valid documents. Assistant Police Inspector of the ATC, Mansingh Patil stated that they have received information that 12 Bangladeshi nationals were staying illegally in Boisar. Over 3,000 detained, 136 cases registered over Anti-CAA protests, says Assam DGP Mahanta

The Director-General of Police (DGP) of Assam, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, in an interview, stated that the Assam police have detained in excess of 3,000 people and arrested 190 people for indulging in violent protests a week ago in the state over the Citizenship Amendment Act (ACC). Mahanta further said that around 16 cases have additionally been registered. He added that these were not ordinary democratic protestors but people who indulged in violence.
