Haryana govt has decided on a priority basis to shift all low tension or high tension lines that pass over densely populated areas and public places including schools, colleges, parks, ponds, etc. The Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will bear the shifting cost of the lines. No mosque damaged in Delhi's Ashok Vihar: Delhi Police

In an interview, the Delhi Police countered the rumors that a mosque in the Ashok Vihar area of Delhi has been damaged, stating that no such incident has occurred. The North-West District Deputy Police Commissioner stated that some false information regarding the incident had been circulated. The commissioner further requested that false information not be distributed. Areas of Delhi have been in the throes of communal violence since Monday, with at least 13 people losing their lives and more than 180 injuries sustained, including the police. Siddhivinayak Temple Trust to donate INR 5 Cr towards 'Shiv Bhojan' Scheme of Maha govt

The Siddhivinayak Temple Trust has declared it will donate INR 5 Cr in support of the Maharashtra govt's Shiv Bhojan Scheme. Under the Shiv Bhojan scheme, a meal is provided for INR 10 to the needy. Adesh Bandekar, chairman of the Siddhivinayak Temple Trust, stated that the Trust uses its 'daan peti' collections and other offerings to enhance humanity. Bandekar added that this was decided by the trust in accordance with the norms, this decision will go to the department of law and the judiciary for their approval and the trustee will hand over this amount to CM Uddhav Thackeray as soon as they approve.
