Govt orders more than 1.5 cr bodysuits and 1 crore N95 mask

While addressing media, Health of Ministry informed that the Government has ordered more than 1.5 crores personal protective equipment (PPEs) for healthcare workers. The government wanted to ensure the safety of health workers amid the coronavirus pandemic. Ministry further informed that the government has placed orders for more than 1 crore N95 masks. 20-year-old labourer commits suicide over lack of work during lockdown

In Niyazupura village of Uttar Pradesh, a 20-year-old labourer named Javed allegedly committed suicide at his home. According to his family, Javed has married four months ago and claimed that he took the extreme step because he was worried about not getting work due to the lockdown. India reported over 2,000 Coronavirus cases,53 death

Today, The number of COVID-19 cases in the country crossed 2000 within the last 24 hours. According to reports, the total number of cases across the country is 2069, of them, 53 people are dead. Much of the spike has come from the religious event held in Delhi last month. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted his first video-conference with Chief Ministers on coronavirus, where he asked them to decide on the process of phased movement of people as the lockdown is lifted. International flights on case-by-case basis after COVID-19 lockdown ends: Hardeep Puri

In a press conference, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said today that resumption of international flights will be considered on a case-by-case basis after India's lockdown ends and will depend on which countries they are coming from. He also said that any incoming flights to bring Indians back home will have to await the lifting of the lockdown. India is under a 21-day lockdown till April 14 and therefore, all domestic and international commercial passenger flights have been suspended for this time period. Src: https://bit.ly/2wZJhrd
