Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) level declines from 'moderate' to 'poor' category

Today at 9:30 IST, Delhi's air quality has again declined from the 'moderate' to the 'poor' category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at various major junctions in the city swung between the 'poor' and 'very poor' categories. The AQI at Anand Vihar was 306 with PM 2.5 at 306 and PM 10 at 269. The level of air pollution in Ashok Vihar was high as the AQI was recorded at 309. While in some areas such as Mandir Marg, ITO and Lodhi, the AQI plunged at 271, 281 and 212 respectively. IndiGo flight from Chennai to Hyderabad suffers engine problem, withdrawn from service

IndiGo flight 6E-6215 Prat & Whitney (P&W) fitted Neo aircraft, heading from Chennai to Hyderabad, suffered an engine problem and has been withdrawn from service for necessary maintenance. As per the airlines, the pilot reported vibration on the engine during flight and landed safely in Hyderabad. Earlier in October, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued instructions to IndiGo to ensure that it doesn't operate any Neo plane which has two P&W 1100 series engines that have been used for more than 3,000 hours each. NASA finds Vikram Lander, releases images of impact site on moon surface

NASA has found Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-2 and published pictures of its impact site on the Moon. NASA has also posted images, clicked on its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) camera, displaying the changes in the Moon's surface and the impact point before and after the spacecraft had landed hard. It further indicated the impact spot of the lander and an associated debris field created by the crash with blue and green dots respectively. The green dots indicate the debris of the spacecraft (confirmed or likely). Blue dots locate the disturbed soil, where small bits of the spacecraft blew up the regolith. Src: https://bit.ly/2Rk480h
