While giving an interview to a newspaper, Hong Kong-based Professor/ Scientist Malik Peiris, who identified Server Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) said that 2019 Novel Coronavirus appears to spread more easily than 2003 SARS. However, the number of deaths will be less in Coronavirus. He further said that the new strain of coronavirus is more severe. As per media reports, in China, 132 people lost their lives. 4 drug peddlers nabbed with 108 kg marijuana in Hyderabad

In Telangana's Hyderabad city, the police along with Special Operation Team has nabbed four drug peddlers and seized 108 kg of marijuana, a car and four mobile phones worth INR 14 lakhs from their possession. As per the police, after receiving information, the joint operation was conducted on January 28. The accused persons had purchased the marijuana from Odisha at the rate of INR 2,000 per kg so as to sell it at the rate of INR 8,000 in Rajasthan, the police added.
