IIT-Hyderabad student committed suicide; 3rd such case of campus in 2019

Recently it was reported that another student from IIT Hyderabad has committed suicide on Tuesday by jumping from the hostel building on the campus at Kandi. As per the police officials, the student had reportedly sent email to his friends before committing suicide. Statically it was the third case in which student have shorten his life at the institute this year, with one student committing suicide in July and another in February. Src: https://bit.ly/2BUPhQJ

A 15-year old boy loses his hand due to the bursting of a firecracker

A fifteen year old boy named Vijay received an injury on his right hand while burning a fire cracker in Mohali, Punjab. The boy was rushed to the hospital where the doctors amputed his hand after the examination. According to a data collected from different government facilities across the country around 173 people suffered injuries because of firecrackers. Out of which 117 were burn injuries and 56 were eye injuries. The figure saw an increase of 60% as compared to the year 2018 in which 110 people suffered injuries because of firecrackers. What Narendra Modi is trying to hide from the world? says Christ Davies

A Christ Davies a Member of European Parliament representing North West England alleges Modi government for debarring him from visiting Kashmir. Christ in an statement said that he was invited to visit Kashmir but when he asked the Indian Government to be given a permission for free dialogue with the locals he was denied and was also barred from visiting Kashmir. Delhi: Free bus rides for women begin today, Kejriwal calls it a ‘monumental step’

As the free ride scheme for women in Delhi’s public buses are in effect from today, Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, said that he personally knows families where daughters are forced to abandon studies as they have to travel long distances to get to college. He further added that he believes the free ride scheme will be a monumental step towards empowering women.
