UP: building collapsed following cylinder blast, 11 dead and 30 injured

Recently, in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh, a building collapsed following a cylinder blast which led to at least eleven dead and over 30 people injured. According to a media report, Police said that in morning around 7:30 am while women at the house were cooking breakfast when the incident occurred in Mohammmadabad area of the district, Residents of the area stated that they heard a loud explosion after which flames erupted from the building. As per media report, all injured have been rushed to the district hospital and several people are still believed to be trapped in the debris, police teams are on the spot and are carrying out rescue operations with the help of locals. Chief Minister YogiAdityanath has expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. Humans have salamander-like ability to repair cartilage in joints: Study

Researchers, in a study, have found that Cartilage in human joints can too repair itself through a mechanism used by creatures such as salamanders and zebrafish. The finding could be potentially lead to treatments for osteoarthritis, the most common joint disorder in the world. Apple iPhone 2022 models to come with in-house 5G modem

Apple is planning to bring its own 5G modem in iPhones by the year 2022. As per media reports, Apple is expected to launch its first iPhone with a 5G modem by 2020 with a Qualcomm chip inside. The reports added that Apple's development of the next-gen modem is likely led by Esin Terzioglu, who worked as Qualcomm's Vice President of Engineering unit until he was hired by the iPhone maker in 2017. The report included that Apple agreed to buy Qualcomm's 5G chips to use it as part of its 5G-enabled iPhone, which is scheduled for launch in 2020. Sports Ministry decides to make sporting infrastructure accessible to all

Ministry of Sports has decided to allow National and State Sports Federations, Leagues, and Clubs to organise sports events in all sporting facilities owned by the govt, free of cost, to provide impetus to the Fit India Movement.
