Rioters at Delhi violence attack television journalists, one sustains bullet injury

Many journalists took to social media to share tales of how they were attacked and many even claimed that they were questioned about their religious identity. While a journalist with JK 24X7 news received a bullet injury and two reporters from NDTV were beaten and punched by rioters in northeast Delhi. One of the NDTV journalist Arvind Gunasekar said he was hit by rioters while he was at one of the spots in northeast Delhi and even lost a tooth. Amit Shah holds meeting to review the situation in the national capital

Union Home Minister Amit Shah kept an emergency meeting with MLAs and officials from the affected areas and to review the situation in the national capital. Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Intelligence Bureau Director Arvinda Kumar and many more were present in the meeting. The police have erected barricades on the road to prevent these two groups from coming in contact with each other and the anti-riot police force is on the spot to control the violence. 18 children rushed to hospital after consuming Midday meal

Recently it was confirmed by the media reports that as many as 18 students were taken to a hospital after having their midday meal. The students fell sick allegedly after consuming milk, vegetables and chapatti that was served at the school. The students are undergoing treatment at the JLN Hospital. On Saturday, the students had their midday meal and soon after consuming milk, they started complaining of nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps. Src: https://bit.ly/2T9E07j
