Why did we take such step earlier which has to be taken back now?: Mayawati raises question on corporate tax cut

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati raised questions over the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's announcement on slashing tax on corporate companies. Mayawati on her Twitter handle stated, "The Central Govt is terming the reduction in corporate tax announced today as historic and claiming that it will end the country's economic slowdown and crisis. May it be so and the serious crisis that has come over people's livelihood should end. But the basic question is, why did we take such a step earlier which has to be taken back now?" This comes hours after Sitharaman announced tax cuts and fiscal reliefs saying that domestic corporate tax has been slashed to an effective 25.17%, inclusive of all surcharges and cess. Mayawati slams Oppn leaders for scheduling visit to J&K without permission

BSP chief Mayawati slammed the Congress and other party leaders who recently scheduled their visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Mayawati, on her Twitter handle, wrote, "Did not the recent visit of Congress and other party leaders in Kashmir sans permission similar to giving the Centre and the Governor a chance to do politics? It would have been appropriate if they had thought about it a bit before going there". She further stated that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was always a supporter of Unity, Equality, and Integrity of the country and that is why he wasn't in favour of the separate provision of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and this is why BSP supported the removal of this Article.
