Delhi Police says JNU violence attackers suspected to be insiders

Amid JNU mob violent attack, a senior Delhi police officer informed that they suspected that attackers were insiders. The officers said that according to a preliminary investigation most of them involved in the violence were students and they went knocking on the specific doors of some hostels. The official further said that the main focus of the investigation will be on the Periyar and Sabarmati hostels, where the incident occurred. However, Delhi police have handed the cases to Crime Branch and the department has written a letter to JNU administration to conduct a meeting where they can interact with the witness and victims. Man in Delhi shoots wife in the head and throws her off terrace

Accused identified as Rohit has been arrested for shooting his 26-year-old wife and throwing her body from the terrace. The autopsy confirmed that the victim died of a gunshot wound and had multiple fractures in her head due to the fall and she was also two months pregnant. The accused was arrested from Sonipat, where he was hiding at a relative’s place. Allegedly Rohit killed his wife because his parents did not full fill his dowry demands. CBI arrests 2 men for posing as agency chief and threatening senior customs officers

2 men identified as Daksh Aggarwal and Puneet Pareek has been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation for posing as chief RK Shukla and threatening senior customs officers with registering a case against them.
