Union Governments asks for 3 months time from the Supreme Court to frame regulations for social media

The Union Government has asked for a time of 3 months to frame the regulations regarding the control of hate speech, fake news, defamatory posts and anti-national activities on social media platforms. In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, the center said that such cases have increased rapidly. Before this the Supreme Court asked the Government about the steps taken against such activities and asked government to frame strict regulations in this matter after Facebook and Whatsapp requested, the petitions pending at the Madhya Pradesh, Bombay and Madras high courts, related to the linking of the Aadhar card with social media accounts, to be shifted to the apex court. Siachen open for the tourism, has great potential to attract tourists: Rajnath Singh

The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the place carries a great potential for tourism activity to carry on. Singh also said that better connectivity and transport facilities will attract a large number of tourists. Karanataka : Explosion at Hubballi Railway Station; one injured

Recently, there was an explosion at the Hubballi Railway Station in Karnataka where one man got injured. According to a media report, the explosion took place when a tea vendor identified as Hussainsab Makanwale, opened an unknown parcel. The Railway officials and Police rushed to the spot after hearing the explosion. The Police stated that it was not a major explosion and they found more explosives in small boxes at the station. Indian pilgrim Kartarpur corridor registration stalled, pact still not inked

For every Indian pilgrim visiting Darbar Sahib gurdwara in Pakistan’s Kartarpur will be charged with $ 20 service fee, with which India has major misgivings as it was not cleared when the pact was signed. India and Pakistan have agreed that the pilgrims will not need visas to use the corridor. the Indian side of the Kartarpur corridor will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on November 8th, while the Pakistan side is said to be inaugurated on November 9th by Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
