"If the PM Modi truly respects the Police, he should withdraw the candidature of Pragya Singh Thakur" - Milind Deora

Modi's praise for police came over a week after Pragya Singh Thakur's controversial statement about slain IPS officer Hemant Karkare. Mumbai Congress president, Milind Deora, in a statement, said, the people of Mumbai should ask why the PM is encouraging those who insulted the armed forces and brave police. And, if the PM truly respects the Maharashtra police, he should withdraw Pragya Thakur's ticket immediately. That's the least he can do to honour martyr Hemant Karkare."
