Drunk on Power: Priyanka Gandhi slams BJP after assault incidents

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra alleged that few BJP leaders thrashed govt employees for doing their duty as the leaders were 'drunk on power'. Gandhi further took it on her Twitter handle where she wrote that BJP leaders should serve the people of the country after winning elections, yet they are rather thrashing employees. She further said that some leaders use a bat to thrash the employee and some use lathis against a toll employee for asking toll tax. Priyanka further asked, "are there any possibilities for a solid action against these leaders?" Priyanka's statement came after security men along with BJP MP and schedule castes commission chairman Ram Shankar opened fire in the air and allegedly thrashed employees at a toll post. Do You Agree That DJs Should Play only Devotional Songs in Religious Events?

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that DJs will be allowed during 'Kanwar Yatra' if they play 'bhajan' and not filmy songs. The 'Kanwar Yatra' is an annual pilgrimage of Lord Shiva's devotees. The 'kanwaris' visit religious places to fetch holy Ganga. Yogi Adityanath makes a good point of not mixing our culture with entertainment and breaks a precedent employed by all chief ministers before him. His decision has been lauded in many ways as societal and cultural laws must not be diluted, especially with increasing modernity. Is the decision justified?
