Maharashtra: Police busts Prostitution racket, arrests 9 in Raigad

In Maharashtra's Raigad, police have busted prostitution racket and arrested 9 accused including 5 females. The accused females were identified as Rekha Notani, Ranjita Singh, Seema Singh, Shruti Gaonkar, and Aarohi Singh. The police have likewise recovered Cocaine from the accused and saved 7 victims in the bust and sent them to a Remedy Center. Uttar Pradesh: A Boy claimed of being assaulted on a train

A shocking incident has been registered at the Jawan Police Station, Uttar Pradesh on Friday. A 17-year old Boy had claimed to be assaulted by co-passengers in a train between Aligarh and Bareilly. Over this matter, UP Police officials have informed that the boy has changed his statement multiple times hence they’re yet to confirm the authenticity. The lodged FIR said, “On May 18, around 1.37 pm, the boy boarded a train from Sunamayi railway station for a Madrasa in Bareilly. On the way, 8-10 youths harassed him. They threw his skullcap away and made him inhale a sedated handkerchief and forced him to get off the train. When the victim gained consciousness, he found himself in a field. Andhra Pradesh: Police arrests Six persons and recovers 96 Kg's of Cannabis in Visakhapatnam

In Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam, the police have arrested six persons and recovered 96 Kg's of Cannabis in Pendurthi's Prahaladapuram area. The police have also recovered one auto-rickshaw, four cell phones, and Rs 65,000 in cash. Uttar Pradesh: Woman allegedly sets 2-month old daughter on fire in her house

In Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur, a two-month-old girl was allegedly set on fire by her mother after burying her in the house. As per the Assistant Superintendent of Police, Madhuban Singh, the mother was depressed as her daughter was sick and wasn't reacting to any treatment. After her daughter died, the mother revealed to neighbour about the same and set fire to the house and left. Singh further stated, "Body of the daughter has been recovered and sent for post-mortem.
