To bring Indians from abroad will be decide after review of COVID-19 situation: Govt

When the government were asked about Indians who live abroad, they said over 20,400 foreign nationals have been evacuated from India and a decision on bringing Indians from abroad will be taken at a later stage after reviewing the COVID-19 situation. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the government also said there are 3.28 crore hydroxychloroquine tablets in India's stock and a decision has been taken to export some surplus medicines after reviewing the domestic requirement and keeping buffer stocks. WhatsApp number to report domestic violence launched by NCW amid lockdown

The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Friday launched the WhatsApp number 7217735372 for reporting domestic violence amid coronavirus lockdown. The number has been launched only for the duration of the lockdown till NCW's normal office resumes, it said. No mask, no fuel rule in Odisha by all petrol pumps

The petrol pumps across Odisha have come out with a rigorous rule, No Mask, No Petrol/Diesel /CNG, in a bid to strictly enforce government's order making the wearing of face masks mandatory while going out of homes. 149 people held, 30 vehicles impounded for defying lockdown in Noida

The police on Thursday arrested 149 people and impounded 30 vehicles across Noida and Greater Noida for allegedly defying the COVID-19 lockdown. The police reported that seven FIRs were registered. A total of 445 vehicles were checked across 132 barrier points in the district and challans issued to 200 of them, while 30 were impounded. The FIRs were registered under the Indian Penal Code section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) over violations of the lockdown under Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) Section 144, which bars assembly of four or more person.
