Demonetization was a ‘terror attack’ on small businesses and employment: Rahul Gandhi

The former national president of Congress Rahul Gandhi lashed on the BJP government for the demonetization of 500 and 1000 notes back in the year 2016. Gandhi alleged Narendra Modi for the economic downfall through a tweet by saying that the demonetization white-washed small businesses in the country and it also grew unemployment. He also compared the act of demonetization to a ‘terror attack’, the current party president of Congress Priyanka Vadra also said that the demonetization was a disaster in a separate tweet. Increase in Cancer cases by 324% in a year

According to the National Health Profile, 2019, the cases of common cancer (oral, cervical and breast cancer) diagnosed at state-run cancer clinics increased by nearly 324% between 2017 and 2018. In 2018, out of 6.5 crore people who visited these clinics for screening, 1.6 lakh were diagnosed with one of these common cancers, compared to 39,635 cases detected in 2017. The experts attribute this growth to the rapid change in lifestyles, including stress, food habits and consumption of tobacco products and alcohol. 70-year-old man serves free food to people since last 36 years

Sitaram Das Baba 70, is a living example of undertaking social service. Baba provides free food daily to 500 plus people who comes to Bajarang Das Baba Ashram. He starts his day at 5 am and has been serving for 36 years in feeding tourists and devotees. The Indian Railways going to convert 200 saloon-coaches into luxury trains

The Indian Railways has decided to handover at-least 200 saloon-coaches into 10 luxurious tourist trains. These trains will be run and managed by IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) to create additional revenue. These saloon coaches consist of two bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge, a toilet, and a pantry and were designated for the use by the officials of the Indian Railway when they went on for inspections in far-flung areas.
