Currency notes including dollars showered on bhajan singer in Gujarat

Recently the renowned folk singer Geeta Rabari was showered with currency notes including US dollars at a devotional bhajan programme in Navsari situated in Gujarat. As per the media reports, organisers of the event has claimed that the collected money was nearly INR 8-10 lakh and the money would be used for philanthropic purposes like running cow shelters, marriages of poor girls and educating poor children. 3 arrested for spreading fake news on coronavirus in Kerala

Three people identified as Shafi from Moonupeedika, Sirajuddeen from Perinjanam and Sabari from Pazhayannur were recently arrested for spreading fake news related to coronavirus on social media. As per the media reports, police were also tracking six others who forwarded the misleading information. Citizenship Act protestor dies after falling ill at Kolkata’s Shaheen Bagh

Recently a 57-year-old woman identified as Sameeda Khatun protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) at Kolkata's Park Circus had lost her life after complaining of breathlessness on Saturday night. As per the media reports, Sameeda was an asthmatic patient and died after suffering a cardiac arrest. SUV car falls into a canal in Ghaziabad; 2 swim back to land, 4 missing

Recently a car carrying as many as six people, including two women students of Uttaranchal University in Dehradun has met with an unfortunate incident and hit the divider of the canal road between Niwari and Muradnagar and plunged into the canal.
