A woman set ablaze at office by bus conductor friend for not talking to him in Tamil Nadu

In spite of having several laws to deal with crimes against women, it appears that the criminals are acting with absolute impunity. In a horrible crime, a 26-year-old woman identified as J Salomi was allegedly set ablaze by a private bus conductor at her workplace because she did not talk to him from the past few days. The victim has sustained 20% burn injuries and is receiving treatment at the Cuddalore Government Hospital. The victim was already married and only was having a friendly talk with the accused, Sundaramurthy. But he had apparently a lot of expectations from her. Src: https://bit.ly/2SPS473
