The universe might be 2 billion years younger

Recently it was claimed by the researchers at the Max Planck Society, Germany that the universe is expanding faster than previous claims which has led the scientists to suggest that it must be more than 2 billion years younger than past claims. Media reports suggested that scientists have also trimmed the age of the universe to less than 12 billion years, rather than prior projections of 13.8 billion. Past estimates on the universe’s age were based on a Hubble Constant, or expansion rate, of 70, suggested the media reports. Src: https://bit.ly/2lTbx9a
