Govt imposes Sec 144 in JNU campus, parliament; Centre forms panel to resolve issues

The Government has decided to impose Section 144 around the JNU campus and near Parliament. JNU students have been protesting over a fee hike and other issues that are affecting poor students. To stage their protest the students are marching towards Parliament. Meanwhile, the Human Resource Development ministry has appointed a three-high power members committee to discuss and resolve the issues. Delhi: Air quality improves, AQI reaches back to 'moderate'category

Today, air quality in Delhi has improved from the category of 'poor' to the category of 'moderate'. As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) data, the major pollutants PM 2.5 was recorded as 188, 174 in Lodhi Road, 103 in Aya Nagar, Burari crossing at 183 and CRRI Mathura road recorded 192 AQI. As per media reports, the AQI in areas such as ITO (215), Dwarka sector 6 (226), and Jahangirpuri (249) still remain in the 'poor' category. Src: https://bit.ly/37bWZV8

AIMPLB to file a review plea on Supreme Court’s Ayodhya verdict

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has decided to file a review plea for Supreme Court’s Ayodhya verdict during a brainstorming session with different Muslim parties over the top court’s verdict .The decision was taken during a meeting in which Sunni Central Waqf Board Chairman Zafar Farooqui was also invited however he refused to attend the meeting to seek review of SC verdict saying that it had issued a clarification earlier that it won’t challenge the verdict.
